Fresh ocean air, mountain views, and exceptional yakitori. Akari somehow manages to deliver Michelin inspired quality from a food truck. The chicken tsukune was my favorite, and the tare sauce deserves its own bottle. I'll be bringing every visitor here.

I've eaten yakitori in Tokyo and honestly wasn't expecting this level of quality from a food truck. The chicken was tender, the seasoning was spot on, and the attention to detail was impressive. Watching the smoke rise from the grill with the ocean behind it made the whole experience unforgettable.

Akari has become my must stop every time I'm in Camps Bay. The skewers are beautifully cooked, the ingredients taste premium, and the presentation feels like something from a fine dining restaurant. The egg yolk and tare combination was absolutely addictive.
